Understand GPS and workplace verification

OnTimeShift uses a current location reading for attendance checks. It does not continuously track an employee in the background.

Step by step

1. Allow the foreground location permission needed by the attendance action.
2. Enable device location services and wait for an accurate current reading.
3. If you are genuinely at the correct workplace but outside the configured radius, ask the administrator to review the workplace point and radius.
4. Do not change a workplace point to match an incorrect phone reading without checking the actual map position.
5. If you deny permission, use the Help Centre or contact your administrator to understand which verified attendance actions will be unavailable.

Labels can vary with app version, language and company permissions. If an option is missing, check your account role before changing company data.
